The Columbia River Gorge Technology Alliance (Gorge Tech Alliance, GTA) is a professional organization composed of local tech businesses. The Alliance represents the high-tech industry in the bi-state Columbia River Gorge region. The region includes the counties of Hood River, Wasco and Sherman in Oregon and Skamania and Klickitat in Washington. The Mid-Columbia Innovation Hub partners with the GTA on a number of events to promote entrepreneurship within the tech industry.
Mid-Columbia Economic Development District (MCEDD) is a intergovernmental agency in the Columbia River Gorge. The Mid-Columbia Innovation Hub operates as an extension of MCEDD. In addition to grant writing and technical assistance, MCEDD offers a loan funding program for microloans and gap financing.
Business Oregon is the state of Oregon’s economic development agency. Its mission is to promote, retain, and expand businesses to foster economic growth and improve the quality of life for Oregonians. Funds for the Mid-Columbia Innovation Hub are generously provided from Business Oregon and the Oregon Innovation Council.
