April HubTalk: Investing In The Gorge

April 9 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

What does investment actually look like in a rural economy? Local founders and investors get candid about capital in the Gorge.

Join Mid-Columbia Innovation Hub for our April HubTalk: Investing In The Gorge

Capital is moving into the Gorge. The question is how, and what it actually looks like when an investor and a founder find each other in a region like ours.

This HubTalk is a conversation we keep coming back to: what it takes to attract investment to a rural economy, what investors are looking for in early-stage companies, and what the experience of raising capital is actually like from both sides of the table.

This panel brings together local founders and investors for a candid look at deals that got done, what made them work, and what the path forward looks like for businesses building here.

If you’re a founder thinking about outside investment (or just curious about how capital flows in a region like the Gorge) this is a conversation worth being in the room for.

Light bites available — Cash bar (and NAs) available from The Ruins.

HubTalks are a monthly networking and informational event hosted by Mid-Columbia Innovation Hub and Mid-Columbia Economic Development District. They occur every 2nd Thursday of the month at 5:30pm. HubTalks are open to the public, with no membership required.
